April has a couple of key Moon Milestones. On April 16, 1972, Apollo 16 launched; the crew brought back the 26 lb moonrock “Big Muley!” And on April 17, 1970, Apollo 13 successfully landed on Earth after days of concern and high tension. Amazing history made by amazing people.
